Check Point Challange 001
We will take the time to look back at what we have learned and use it to write some code.
We should now have a basic understanding of the following:
- alert built in function
- how to link your js files in a html file
- how to have JavaScript write to the document
- how to use the console to check/write JavaScript
- how to comment in JavaScript
- three different JavaScript variable type ((integers, strings, Boolean In computer science, a Boolean is a logical data type that can have only the values true or false. For example, in JavaScript, Boolean conditionals are often used to decide which sections of code to execute (such as in if statements) or repeat (such as in for loops). The Boolean value is ...)
- four different JavaScript mathematical operators (plus, minus, multiply & divide)
- JavaScript shorthand mathematical operators
- Booleans in JavaScrip
- Comparison Operators
- if statments
- else if statements
- Logical Operators
- While Loops
- For Loops
- Break & Continue
- Functions
- Variable Scope
Complete the following challenges.
- Write a JavaScript function that accepts a number as a parameter and check the number is prime or not. Then writes the result to the document.
Note : A prime number (or a prime) is a natural number greater than 1 that has no positive divisors other than 1 and itself. - Write a JavaScript function that checks if a person is allowed to drink in the state of PA according to the year they were born. The results should be written to the console and the document.
- Write a JavaScript funtion that counts in the console log until it reaches the number that was passed to it.
- Write a javascript function that checks if a value passed to it is true and then write the result to the document.
- Write JavaScript that will take a sentence and write each word seperatly to console.
